Hi all,

I turned off my Alesis monitors for the first time in a few months last night, came home from work today turned them on, and one of them is making a clicking/pulsing sound - and i can see the cone pulsing... Doesnt sound good - so i ran a signal through it, and its stuttering badly. The pulsing even happens when there is no audio signal running into it. Tried plugging it in on a completely different powerpoint with a different cable - same thing.

Anyone experienced this?

Any options other than repair? Anyone know what it might be?

From what you can say that? I have mine for pretty long time and they are ok and i work on them almost every day from 1 to 3h

Do they do it when there is nothing connected to them? That's the first thing I'd try, then you know that its the speaker not the thing plugged into it.
