Don't believe there is Krim. It's kind of big, then it would turn into, "well what to include in the demo?"
I'm sorry this post wasn't about techno.

Think the "Strawberry Fields" flute intro, the outro choir on Radiohead's "Exit Music For a Film", the string sounds on the Zombies Odessey & Oracle as heard all over "Brief Candles" and "Changes." Sparklehorse's "Gold Day" has some great mellotron flute usage, and Elliott Smith's song "Twilight" has a nice melotron string solo, etc.

If you check out even half of that stuff you'll have more than a good idea of what a Melotron (thus M-Tron) sounds like.

Even if you don't have this stuff you could always try iTunes or something similar to download the songs and check out the sounds.

Had some mp3's at the site at one point thaty were pretty allright. Look for those, but they should have a demo with 2-3 sounds.
The armchair is more than the sum of the bastards

Oh and I remember Dave from Sonic Reality did some really good Mellotron only demos for the Tron Collection Vol. 1 they did a while back. If you search for the thread the link to the songs may still be active.

and dont foget the eels usage of the mellotron rhythms in Mr. E's Beautiful Blues. Ol Mark Oliver Everett puts the mellotron to good use.

The beatles songs "flying" (the instrumental on MMT) uses mellotron choir and string sounds, and bungalow bill from white album uses the "mandolin" patch to great effect.

Aieee! :-O Let me guess -- someone left a lit cigarette on top of the real thing, hoping to make it look like M-Tron, right? *grrrr*

Here's a list of 'Tron songs from the M-Tron page on GMedia's site:

The Beatles - Strawberry Fields Forever (Flutes)
Led Zeppelin - Stairway to Heaven (Flutes)
The Moody Blues - Nights In White Satin (Violins)
Genesis - Dance on a Volcano (Choirs) & Watcher Of the Skies (Brass&Bass Accordion Mix)
Yes - Heart of the Sunrise & And You And I (Strings)
Radiohead - Exit Music (Choirs)
Putte - Jubel Buben (Flutes, Harp Glissandos & Cello)
King Crimson - In the Court of the Crimson King & Starless (Three Violins)
