any tips for making good, hard-synced leads? I've been working on some, but haven't quite made what I'm looking for.

Any thoughts: I feel like I could heat things up with an overdrive plug, some distortion or a waveshaper, but I haven't sussed out how to do it simply by fm alone. Modulating the primary saws with a slow, long saw helps, but, any thoughts
