Torn sub updates Callisto Advanced Arranger Module and releases a standalone version
Torn sub has updated Callisto with new features and abilities and released a standalone version.
Callisto can now be connected to most of 32-bit\64-bit VST hosts, other standalone samplers\romplers and MIDI devices externally, by using virtual MIDI cables and send them MIDI sequences in real time. It can also control "right hand" instruments on both "arranger" and "piano" modes and split the MIDI keyboard into 2 ranges, like any traditional arranger.
New features:
- Callisto now can be connected to both 32-bit and 64-bit VST hosts through a virtual MIDI cables via new options stage.
- MIDI sequence is sent out to hosts, other stand alone samplers\romplers\MIDI devices by using 2 methods: 1 cable mode and multi-cable mode.
- Added support for using 3 MIDI-in devices at once.
- Added built-in tempo and time signature features.
- Added "master smart crash engine" module.
- Added Solo instruments (right hand) controller.
- Added new "piano mode" and "split keyboard" features.
- Callisto can now play solo instruments in to ways: "single mode" for single solo instrument each time or "multi" for more than one (up to 6) instrument at the time.
Fixes:
- Fixed high CPU\RAM performance with older processors.
- Fixed abnormal behavior with some system and VST hosts.
- Fixed minor GUI and graphics issues.
Improvements:
- New saved styles updated instantly.
- Faster loading\saving.
- MIDI session can started with any variation (except "End"s).
