Bill Wall at Direct Approach has announced the release of BoostX v2.0 and LimitX v3.0, two new dynamics plug-ins for Windows.

BoostX v2.0 is a transparent, zero latency, upward compressor (AKA parallel compressor) plug-in. It utilizes Non-Linear Sample Remapping technology to provide upward compression with up to 6db boost and without the need to set up multiple tracks.

LimitX v3.0 is a transparent, zero latency, limiter plug-in. It utilizes Non-Linear Sample Remapping technology to provide totally automatic limiting without loss of high frequencies.

Priced at $29.99 each, LimitX and BoostX are available for Windows as VST effect plug-ins. The both work in ProTools using FXpansion's VST-to-RTAS wrapper. Demo versions are available.
