Sony has announced that the Sony Oxford Plugins will be trading under the new name of Sonnox, with immediate effect. In addition to continuing to support and promote the existing range of Oxford Plug-ins: EQ, Dynamics, Limiter, Inflator, Reverb and Transient Modulator, the new company will be concentrating on new innovations to expand the product line.

Sonnox officially launched the full native range of its Oxford Plug-ins at Musikmesse 2007, compatible with Audio Units, VST and RTAS applications on Windows and Mac OS X:

  • Oxford Limiter
  • Oxford Dynamics
  • Oxford EQ
  • Oxford Transient Modulator
  • Oxford Inflator
  • Oxford Reverb (Win/VST not yet available)

In a promotion marking the beginning of the new company, Sonnox is offering a free Oxford TransMod plug-in to anyone who purchases and registers an Oxford Plugins bundle between April 16th and May 31st 2007. Bundles are available for ProTools TDM, Native (AU, VST, ProTools LE) and Powercore platforms and can be custom created by choosing anything from two to six plug-ins.

The Oxford 6 Pack bundle is also now available, offering a saving of 40% on the individual prices.
