Admiral Quality has released a new Beta update of the virtual analog softsynth, Poly-Ana, and is offering Poly-Ana at 25% off its regular price during the Beta ($134.96 USD).
1.30 Beta 0 fixes a rare but important bug.
Coming updates in the 1.30 Beta series will add a new Anti-Aliasing parameter, and a fully skinnable GUI.
Congrats Admiral! Making Poly-ana better and better is really great. its a great sounding synth. i have used and own a lot of analogue gear and Poly-ana is a great compliment to the top tier softsynths. I don't mean as a lower tier - Poly-ana is right up there with U-he, XILS, etc. I have Arturia Collection V and it includes some great sounding synths that pretty much sound like the real thing. Poly-ana is just above that class in terms of sound quality. so its top tier in my books. but it's its own synth, it has its own character. very diverse smooth full sound. and that's my two cents.
I was initially impressed by this synth but it wore thin once i had some meetings with the developer, lets just say hes not a pleasant fellow. quite arrogant, and if you disagree with the guy. get ready to be called every name under the sun. had a terrible experience with this product. i payed for it and deleted it off of my hard drive. im out money but it beats having his software on my computer. URS/U-HE make a far superior product. Mike was not able to get the anti aliasing function working properly even in this newest release it still doesnt work correctly (admitted by mr Humphreys himself in a private message to me) while the synth sounds good, its better to spend money on something that will have longevity, as the Humphreys cant feed himself. not much of a future. bad investment.
