Arturia has released Augmented Yangtze, the latest addition to their Augmented Series of hybrid instruments. Augmented Yangtze fuses sampled traditional Chinese instruments with a synthesis engines, providing composers and producers with a comprehensive palette of authentic and evocative sounds.
Augmented Yangtze features an inclusive library of instruments, including the Erhu, Pipa, Guqin, Bass Dizi, Xiao, and Yangqin. Users can layer and morph samples using synthesis engines (granular, wavetable, virtual analog, harmonic) to create unique and evolving textures. Yangtze also offers macros, an arpeggiator, and a wide range of built-in effects for extensive sound customization.
The instrument comes with over 200 presets showcasing its capabilities, ranging from traditional Chinese sounds to modern, experimental textures.
