DDMF releases "DirectionalEQ" for Win and Mac (VST, AU, RTAS)

DDMF has released version 1.0.0 of DirectionalEQ for Windows and Mac OS X in VST, AU and RTAS effect plug-in formats.

This equalizer lets the user equalize the stereo field at specific directions. Five independent bands featuring "state-of-the-art" filter types can be set to operate at "angles" between -45 and 45 degrees, corresponding to the usual monitor setup in the studio. The overall gain at those angles can be adjusted as well, offering detailed stereo image manipulation possibilities. Internal 64 bit processing and twofold oversampling are part of the package.

DirectionalEQ costs $29; for one month, an introductory discount of 30% is in effect.
