Platinum Samples has released the Brooks Wackerman Multi-Format MIDI Groove Libraries. The two new MIDI Groove Libraries are available separately as Songs and Grooves, or as a bundle.

The Brooks Wackerman Grooves Library has over 1,770 MIDI files (over 6,120 bars of unquantized grooves) while the Songs Library features 11 songs (over 1,300 bars split into song sections like intros, choruses and verses) formatted for BFD2, BFD Eco, EZDrummer, EZplayer, Superior Drummer 2.0, Addictive Drums, Cakewalk Session Drummer, as well as General MIDI which can be used with any GM compatible drum software or hardware.

The Brooks Wackerman Grooves MIDI Groove Library features grooves played in 4/4, 5/4 and 7/8 in tempos ranging from 95 to 295 BPM. The Brooks Wackerman Songs MIDI Groove Library includes 11 songs separated into complete song structures. The library features grooves played in 4/4 at tempos ranging from 121 to 215 BPM with straight and swing feels as well as song endings.

Brooks Wackerman is the drummer for seminal American punk rockers Bad Religion, as well as being the front-man for his solo project Kidneys. He has played on the Bad Religion albums “The Process of Belief”, "The Empire Strikes First”, “New Maps of Hell”, and “Dissent of Man”. Brooks has also shared drumming duty on Korn’s untitled studio album with Terry Bozzio while also acting as front-man for Hot Potty and playing drums for thrash metal band The Innocent. In 2008 Brooks joined the experimental industrial rock band Fear and the Nervous System and has toured with Tenacious D.
