Ueberschall releases Soul Club Vol. 1 (Elastik soundbank)

-
Ueberschall

Ueberschall has released the first installment of their new Soul Club Series. These loop packs focus on authentic 70s Soul grooves but with modern production standards.

Here is what they say about Vol. 1:

Lock into the groove and ride the classic Soul train. As the first release in the Soul Club Series, Soul Club Vol. 1 provides classic 70s Soul with a perfect blend of retro and modern production techniques. With drums and bass providing the tightest and smoothest of grooves, this loop pack puts you right into a vintage Soul club. Featuring rhythmic guitars, mellow electric pianos and organs, classy brass and plenty of percussion, Soul Club Vol. 1 sounds and feels like the real deal.

Soul Club Vol. 1 features five song-format construction kits, with original tempos spanning the 80 to 122 BPM range. Each of the kits contains dedicated intro and outro sections alongside 4 or 5 main musical parts that feature loops up to 24 seconds in length. With each part offering multiple instrument loops, building a full song-length arrangement is very easy. In total, the library provides nearly 4 GB of sample data spread over 970 individual loops and, with the powerful Elastik front-end, you can pitch and tempo match all the content to suit your projects.

Drums are provided as premixed loops as well as single tracks for bass drum (mics in and out), snare drum (top and bottom mics plus a trigger for easy replacement), clap, hihat, ride, cymbals, toms, overheads and room. The percussion parts include shakers, tambourine, congas and bongos. These add the additional rhythmic elements that define the genre.

Electric bass loops are provided as both amp and DI versions for mix flexibility. The multiple electric guitar parts offer amp versions that include effects and DI versions. These are complemented by some electric piano, organ and string loops, while brass and flute provide additional color. A selection of vinyl noises lets you dial in even more vintage vibe.

Played with great feel, Soul Club Vol. 1 captures the vibe of vintage soul delivered by a hot band in a classic soul club. Songwriters and producers have everything they need to add their own vocals, while media composers will be able to put the audience into the era of classic soul music with ease. As a perfect complement to our Rare Grooves Series, Soul Club Vol. 1 is so cool, it's hot.
