VB-Audio Matrix is an audio routing application for Windows that allows you to connect several sound cards, several audio software or DAW and several computers together by controlling the overall routing, channel by channel, exactly as an audio matrix allows.
In detail "VBMatrix" allows you to manage 3x ASIO Driver (which can have respectively 128, 64 and 64 channels max), 4x Windows Driver (8 channels max), 4x virtual inputs and outputs (8 channels max), 5x bi-directional VBAN streams (including one in 64 channels) and finally 4x ASIO virtual drivers (capable of respectively managing 8, 64, 64 and 128 channels max) through a routing matrix of 680 x 680 points.
Multi-zone PRESET PATCH allow you to define different "routing" that can be quickly recalled with MUTE and MASTER GAIN functions that can be connected to a M.I.D.I. controller.
VB-Audio Matrix is distributed as donationware (5 to 50 USD).

This nice bit of software can combine multiple audio interfaces into a virtual audio interface (or multiple virtual interfaces if you whish) on windows.
Now i can finally feed Nuendo from all my interfaces at once. You can even route signals between different classes of drivers, so e.g. i can combine two ASIO interfaces and a gaming-headset with its non-ASIO driver.
I use it exclusively for routing, but every connection also has a volume setting, so you could use this for some static mixing.
The preset system was quite confusing to me, so if you want to use that search for the explanation in vb-audios forum.
