Voicemeeter

Voicemeeter is a Virtual Audio Device Mixer able to manage any audio sources on Windows PC; Audio coming from Physical Inputs (e.g. Microphone) as well as audio coming from any application (including Audio Pro ASIO Applications). This offers possibilities to mix your voice with your music player, browser, webradio, video game, and with the sound coming from any audio DAW like Cubase, Ableton Live or Pro Tools (possibly in the same time) for Skype-call or any VOIP / recording workflow.

By supporting All Audio Interfaces (MME, KS, WaveRT, Direct-X and ASIO interface) Voicemeeter becomes also an audio bridge between applications: for ASIO Applications willing to use Windows Audio Device Driver (like MME or WDM) as well as for Windows MME player willing to use ASIO device through Voicemeeter solution. Everything works in all ways.

As Audio Mixer, Voicemeeter is able to mix 3 audio inputs devices (2 physicals and 1 virtual) to 3 audio output devices (2 physicals and 1 virtual) through 2 busses A & B. By mixing Physical audio devices and any audio sources coming from whatever audio applications, Voicemeeter opens up a lot of possibilities:

• To mix your voice with your music on Skype or Google Voice and make your live podcast or own radio program.
• To use 2x USB Headset on a computer, for example for online educational program.
• To Play Video Game in 5.1 and keep the MIC for communication with your team.
• To make tutorial with your preferred audio software and pro quality.
• To Record Conference or Interview in multichannel for post production.
• To use different Audio Application together and record the performance in live with your preferred DAW.
• Finally to manage simply any sound sources on your computer in an easy way.

Voicemeeter also manages multichannel on its Virtual I/O and physical outputs without disturbing stereo workflow. If the regular windows audio interface can limit the number of virtual channel to stereo for recording devices, with ASIO you can really get 8 channels from the virtual output of Voicemeeter and record them....

On master section, 3 new functions allow managing multi channels signal in different ways: The Mix-down button convert 5.1 or 7.1 to stereo. The Stereo Repeat button allows repeating stereo on 2, 4, or 6 other channels. The COMPOSITE button will provide Voicemeeter Pre-fader Inputs on channels 3,4 / 5,6 / 7,8. Then it allows multichannel recording of all Voicemeeter inputs.

Voicemeeter includes now VBAN functions to send or/and receive audio to/from other computers of your local network. This is made possible by a new UDP Protocol, designed for Audio Pro and Audiophiles, to transport multichannel audio in native PCM format (all sampling rate supported). Developed like a "RADIO " transmitter / receptor system, VBAN is very simple to configure and allow to send one or several streams to one or several or all computers of the network.

Voicemeeter is now delivered with VoicemeeterRemote.dll and a first application using it: MacroButtons. This tool allows creating several buttons to control different functions of Voicemeeter just by writing simple requests or script. To mute several strips in a single click or launch a sound by a keyboard shortcut, Macro Button allows complex actions on Voicemeeter, like a Push to talk function that also decreases gain on music strip, mutes other talkers, or changes your voice sound, or all in the same time. Voicemeeter Remote API includes Audio Callback Mechanism to make DSP programming.
