I would like to hear some words from Crysonics about the release and support of their products. It appears they no longer respond to support emails, sales and responses. They were until recently sending out emails for upgrades at a discount...this started last August 2011, promised product back in December, since then all communications have gone quiet except for the odd spam mail from Crysonics. Send them an email and see if you get a response.
It may be plausible this company is no longer trading. Send them money and see if you receive the goods at your cost.

I would like KVR mods to review this product line and whether or not they should be supported by the KVR site.

An update as I forgot about this post.

Finally received the upgrade whilst paid for in August 2011 there was no communication for the developer or even support responses until December 2011 with a promised date around 14/12/2011. Never arrived and no more communications again despite sending emails requesting the promised product.

Dev also stated they would refund if not delivered at that time. Again all emails delivered no response.

In February 2012, 7 months later, the promised update arrived so Kudos for delivering.

April/May 2012 promotional emails start bombarding the inbox again for a new product.

You pay they will deliver ... eventually it seems!

Send emails and received no or very little response.

Customer service and failed promises devalue this product(s) unfortunately as they're ok but much better companies/dev's out there to choose from.

TBH - I dont even bother using them in fear of finding a fault and getting frustrated with the lack of service.

Products 5/10 nothing special

Delivery 1/10 you get it eventually it seems

Customer service 1/10 - failed responses, promises and non communication. The one is for a response email when originally purchased original products in July 2011.

Overall 2/10 and that's being generours all in my personal opinion and experience.

I've had a nearly identical experience. As a Mac user, I was promised free updates on all products that were not already Mac-compatible when they became available. They did NOT deliver on that promise. SpectraC1 (now C2) is the best example of this. All I get is a continuous flow of spam email asking me to upgrade or buy the plugin. If I bothered them, they would likely send me the license; but frankly, I'm so sick of the emails from them, I don't want to invest any more energy into them at this time. I unsubscribed from the email list to stop the spamming, and that likely means I won't get any further update notifications that I'm entitled to. At this point, I want nothing to do with them.

Their plugins are getting really bloated in terms of screen real estate as well. The C2 is unnecessarily HUGE.

Just like to add my sixpence worth and warn anyone who's thinking of buying Crysonic plugins, that they have happily taken my money but not sent me an email with a link to download the product. I've sent numerous emails to them over the past couple of months and even put in a PayPal claim against them. PayPal have not been helpful either. Whilst I understand that their policy doesn't offer protection for digitally delivered products, they could and should at least discipline or de-register Crysonic for not supplying download links. So it could be argued that PayPal are in fact aiding their criminal behavior.
