Crysonic releases SINDO v3.0
9th December 2009

Crysonic has announced the release of SINDO V3, its third-generation stereo image Expander (widener) / Narrower plug-in for Windows and Mac OS X.

SINDOSINDO now includes a new (Crysonic says "an industry first") Stereo image compression feature, this is not to be confused with audio level compression however it is a proprietary stereo field width compression system developed by Crysonic which is fully automated and working at zero latency allowing the user to attain maximum stereo width and retain mono compatibility with minimal side effects.

Another new and proprietary tool is the multi-band Stereo Dynamics section with smoothing which further adds better stereo presence and definition without coloring the sound. Low frequency stereo separation can now also be separately targeted with adjustable cut-off frequencies and width amounts together with the ability to preview.

SINDO V3 also now features a unique stereo field display showing information regarding stereo phase coherence / correlation and compression amounts for both Left and Right Channels when active.

New feature summary:

  • Stereo Width Compression ability.
  • Stereo Field Dynamics.
  • Stereo Correlation Compression LCD.
  • Low Frequency Adjustment with preview.
  • Zero Latency.

Pricing & Availability

SINDO V3 is now available to purchase from the Crysonic website for Mac OS X Universal Binary and Windows in AU and VST effect plug-in formats.

It is currently available for the special introductory price of $79.95 until the 18th of December 2009 (MSRP is $129). All previous Crysonic customers are eligible to purchase / upgrade for $31.95.
