Homegrown Sounds started out creating atmospheric Samples in 2000 and began creating VST Instruments in 2005 by developing the Astralis series of Synthesizers. The idea behind Astralis was to create a synth which could produce the kind of sounds expected from HGS Samples very easily in a creative and intuitive way.

Some of the Astralis Features include:
Dual Synth Engine (either sample or Oscillator Based
    FX Section { Reverb, Delay, Organic, 8 band EQ, Compressor }
    Extensive FX Routing Options
    2 Modulation Sequencers
    Gate Sequencer
    Scala Base Microtuner
    Drive/Noise
    Arpeggiator
    Gapper
32 Stage Envelopes with repeat sections
    Modulation Matrix
    + much more

Astralis Orgone

Dual Sample Based Version which uses any 16/24/32 bit samples as the sound source.

Astralis FX

FX plugin based on the Astralis FX Section with Mod Sequencer/LFO etc... Can be used as an insert or send.

Astralis A & B

Original Oscillator Based versions of Astralis, still available with the Astralis Pack.

Other Synths

Homegrown Piano

Sampled Steinway B Grand Piano with many features including Scala based Microtuner.

Homegrown Piano B

As above with a 'harder' sample set.

Homegrown Rhodes

Bonus Instrument using a 'well worn' Rhodes sample set, available with the above pianos.

Effects etc...

WAV Recorder X

Expanded WAV Recorder capable of multiple simultaneous Recordings.

Free Stuff

Baby Bion VSTi

Free Synth based around the Bion Oscillator and SoundScaper.

HGS WAV Recorder

Free WAV Recorder, 16-32bit float with auto file naming. Very useful for recording improvisations.

Soundscaper

Free Reverb/Echo/Comb plugin designed for creating interesting SoundScapes.

Astralis Orgone Lite

Free version of Orgone with a Single Synth & limited feature set, still a very capable synth.

    Astralis Baby Bion

Free Synth based around the forthcoming Bion Oscillator (which was uniquely developed for Bion) and SoundScaper.

Yes, HG deserves more attention, and a KVR forum will help. Keep up the good work, Andy.

      +1!!

Definately wanna see Astralis gear climbing the ranks in the plug-in ratings section. 10/10 from me for both sounds and service!
