hi, using latest beta, problem has been there before though
after I've assigned a cc number inside the automation mapper to a vsti parameter To record the corresponding CC data from my external controller I need to connect the midiIn module to the sequencer directly. If I connect another plugin between midiIn and sequencer, to modify the data before recording, then cc data will not be available to that plugin nor to the sequencer it will effect the mapped instrument parameter, but I can't record what I'm hearing anymore Can anyone confirm or help me with what I'm doing wrong? Thanks Greets, Pete |

confirmed. mapped CCs are "eaten" by the midi in, but i guess there is an exception if the sequencer is connected directly.
as a workaround you could try using my "midiIn" vst instead of the built-in one: http://thepiz.org/pizmidi/midiIn.zip |

It's working exactly as I need it to with your plugin thank you.
It even lets me modify the controller data before it grabs it for the controller map. Anyway, you're a machine feeling urgent need to donate Greets Pete |
