You make me believe I'm gonna be leader soon
Could you expand this sentence a bit more? Before me there is still a long path of learning, and I wouldn't like to blow enybody's windows or make furniture jumping during the next OSC.

Nothing too serious, it's just that the frequencies around probably 100 hz down seem to be a bit too "big", which creates some long low notes that add nothing to the impact of the track, but make all the glass panes in my room resonate badly... just a tiny bit of EQ should solve the problem

You're right, there are some nasty low frequency thingies. Because of time limit I gave myself I tried to eq by hearing, but after you say this I'd rather go and check sonogram next time.

I think hearing is enough and a pretty good way to eq things, especially if you have very old windows

Yeah, maybe it's time to upgrade from v3.1.Mac of BIOnighT wrote:I think hearing is enough and a pretty good way to eq things, especially if you have very old windows
Dunno why but I kept thinking about Yann Tiersen and Phlip Glass this time round. All brilliant as usual; nevertheless, my votes go this way:
AcidTrip - Totolitoto = 5
Winter pling - dwsel = 3
Slowly Going Nowhere - Yeager = 1
Now to put some Xmas decorations up.

Oooh! Cheers for the votes guys ... and looking at those, I suspect Yeager's sphincter will be sporadically tightening

Yup, that lead once again looks assailable
1 (1) Sync or Swim - Yeager ... 5, 3, 5, 5, 3 = 21
2=(2) AcidRocks - tattiemannie ... 1, 1, 3, 3, 5, 5 = 18
2=(3=) AcidTrip - Totolitoto ... 5, 3, 1, 1, 5, 3 = 18
4(3=) Slowly Going Nowhere - Yeager ... 5, 5, 1 = 11
5(5) AmbiYense - WrigglerUk ... 5, 1, 1 = 7
6(9) Winter pling - dwsel ... 1, 1, 3 = 5
7(6) Bad-Bad-Acidrack - mrblitz000 ... 3, 1 = 4
8=(7=) Last Transmission from the Astrayed Star - Xenobioz ... 3
8=(7=) eatacidbefresh - jonboyd ... 3
10=(10=) Cheese Rack - Mouxbar
10=(10=) Good-Acidrack---mrblitz000
( Total voters: 10, Total points: 90 )
So, 'Sync or Swim' has 'Acidrocks' and 'Acidtrip' threatening to steal that top spot. highest climber is 'Winter Pling' ... moving up 3 places from 9th to 6th ..... still a long, long way to go ....gonna have to find that popcorn eating emoticon soon I reckon

Slightly OT, I've ben playing around with a synth called 'Rogue' ... its gonna need to go on that long list of potential OSC candidates! ... quirky beast for sure!

Certainly looks OSC material - will it work for everyone being Synthedit based though? Ohh, it's becoming a minefieldtattiemannie wrote:Slightly OT, I've ben playing around with a synth called 'Rogue' ... its gonna need to go on that long list of potential OSC candidates! ... quirky beast for sure!
As I've never scored zero in an OSC before, any help in voting for my Euro cheese track would be appreciated

Yeah, Rogue would be a real challenge .... maybe i'm missing something obvious, but it doesn't appear to have an amplitude envelope!!
... could be a nice one to kick off the new year eh?
Mouxbar, re that big fat zero ... all I can say is there's a first time for everything
... good luck though

Seriously, I think zero points is pretty cool
It's just as unique as first prize - actually, I think there should be a prize for that, too!
