After saving a project in Cubase 4 Studio I realized the effects I chose in Artillery were blank. I even tried saving a preset in Artillery but it still comes up blank when I re-open the project. Is this a limitation of the CM version or possibly a bug?

Hi, all settings should be recalled, so this is not a limitation.
We need to have a deeper look into the problem, it would help if you could send us a mail with steps to reproduce the problem,

I also tried loading it in a kore patch and after opening it artillery was empty, even after saving a preset within artillery.

I've tested it in a few other hosts. Live 7, Live 8, Reaper, and EnergyXT had the same result I was seeing in Cubase 4. FL Studio, Audiomulch, Bidule and Samplitude 10 worked fine. Max5 worked too, but I used a read command to read from an fxp file.

I'm upgrading to Cubase Studio 5 today. I'll post my results with that once I try it tonight.

If it fails to recall, please send us the cubase project and tell us which preset was choosen when the project was saved.

Got Cubase Studio 5 loaded today and now Arillery 2 CM recalls presets correctly.

I'm experiencing the exact same problem in Ableton Live 7. It has been bugging me a lot, since I love to use Artillery 2(for me it is the edition from the German magazine Beat) in Live.

Live wont remember the settings or presets in Artillery, and always starts with the blank default preset. You need to manually load the right preset, to make it work properly. This is not a big problem at home, but when playing live it can be troublesome.

I have been considering buying the full plug, but this issue has held me back.
(The good thing is, it has made me go deeper into the Rack feature in Live which delivers kind of the same functionality, just more complex

)

Turns out even in Cubase 5 if I run more than one instance it'll forget all the settings.

hi,can someone explain to me how to set up artillery 2 so i can play effects in live on my midi keyboard.
i.e. i have a bassline i want to mess with.
