Hello,
I'm using Robotronic 1.0.0 and Ableton Live Suite 8. I have applied Robotronic effects to my "Send A" channel and I have 2 vocal audio channels (not midi, just recorded vox) going to Send A. When I play it back in Ableton, I hear the vocoder effects and it sounds great. But when I export a finished audio track (whether from the Master or even if I try to just export Send A) I get no vocals! It's like Robotronic "forgets" which keys I had pressed on its keyboard display and as a result no sound comes out.
Does anyone know how I can fix this? Thank you in advance!
Can't export Robotronic effects via Ableton Live 8

Hi, I would recommend to press the keys via midi track.
Just send a midi track (with the midi-to menu in live)
to the audio track that runs robotronic.
best

Thanks, Rico. I have to confess I don't quite understand what you mean - for some reason, even though other VSTis recognized my MIDI keyboard (M-Audio's Axiom Pro 49), I couldn't get any of the keys in Robotronic to press based on keyboard input. Am I missing a step? How do I make Robotronic aware of my keyboard?Sugar Bytes wrote:Hi, I would recommend to press the keys via midi track.

Create a midi track in Live and use its MIDI-TO menu to sond the midi to Robotronic.

Thanks again for the quick response, Rico. I get it now! At first it wasn't working because I hadn't enabled "record" on my new MIDI track (duh) but now it's working great!
Thank you again, very helpful!
