Hello Greg. How have you been ?

Any news about the "Rhythm Guitar Library" ?

I'm pretty sure that you will bring to us an incredible VI. And i'm excited with the chance to improve even more my guitar parts.

So please, tell us what's going on.

Best !

P.S. Need a beta-tester ?

It's nearly done! All the samples are recorded, and the scripting is almost finished. I also need to write the manual, make presets, and write the demo tunes.

I couldn't be more pleased with how it's turning out! I'm going to be using it a lot for my own songs, I'm looking forward to not having to manually stagger notes to simulate strumming, and entering in accurate guitar voicings. This takes care of it all!

So keep your eyes and ears out for the new rhythm guitar library, and also an exciting announcement about the Strawberry Electric Guitar collection in general.

Good news ! YEAH !

Do you think we'll have this babe next month or so ?

Any idea about the price for Extended Electric owners ?

Yeah, definitely! I hope to have some audio demos available before the release, too.

The price should be around the same area as the other Strawberry libraries, though there'll be a discount if you own any of these other libraries.

Niiiiiiiiice !

This library will be a blockbuster for sure.
In my opinion, there's a big hole in this area. None of the existing libraries satisfies me completely.
But i think your product will change this scenario.
Have a good work !

I can't wait to hear what the engine will sound like using acoustic guitar samples, too.

I'll make some audio demos for you guys to listen to soon!

Acoustic Guitar and Nylon String Guitar are the ones I'm waiting for. It's good to hear that progress is being made.

I just added palm muted sustain samples. That was one of those articulations I knew I couldn't release the product without. :)

It's a little over 1 GB of samples.

2x RR for each upstroke and downstroke (making a total of 4 alternating samples), 3 velocity layers, sustains, mutes, palm muted notes, releases, and palm mute releases. There's even random "bad" notes, which have a little buzz. They don't stand out too much, but they add a lot.

Here's a short audio test of it playing powerchords: http://www.orangetreesamples.com/audio/ ... chords.mp3

The squeals and short arpeggio is the lead guitar library playing--they are designed so you can use them together to form a single guitar track with both strumming and lead playing.

Still one or two features I want to script, but we're getting close!
