Buffer size.

I have a PC with a dual AMD Athlon 2.70 GHz 8 g RAM......I CANNOT believe I have to run XT at over 3000 buffer size....I am using a basic U-Control interface from behringer.....the music sounds horrible. What I'm I doing wrong????

Strange. I take my XT to work on a mem-stick on a computer which has runs an ancient P4. I run without ASIO and get 512 in buffer.
Have you tried ASIO4ALL?

Have you tried ASIO4ALL?
