Triforce, Toad, Peach in Audacity?

I have placed the plug-ins the the Audacity plug-ins folder and set Audacity to scan for new plug-ins, which has worked in the past, but though it detects these plugins in the scan, they do not appear in my list of effects. Are these compatible with Audacity, or do i need to get a new audio editor?

Those three plug-ins are instruments, not effects; Audacity doesn't support VST instruments.
