However. I am having problems understanding how or if the 360 plugins can be used in energyXT. I have tried both the VST version of energyXT and the standalone and get the same problem on each. I have changed the INI file of energyXT on the VST to include:
[VST]
enable=1
inputs=1
outputs=6
to make it a 5.1 surround plugin.
I have also tried the standalone with mono and stereo outputs and have the same problem. I just cannot seem to get any of the waves plugins functioning correctly no matter what I do. Could someone with some energyXT experience please tell me what I'm doing wrong - I can't afford Nuendo but I do have the Waves 360 surround plugins and I'd love to get them working. At the moment I'm using SpatPad 5.1 which works great, but I really want the Waves 360 plugins going for early reflection and 5.1 reverb.
Here's a simple example of my routing, although I've tried MANY combinations of this (stereo linked outputs - mono outputs - on main and the plugins themselves etc). All I seem to get are the right channel and the LFE channel working, although even this isn't specific and I'm getting alot of crackles cause by clipping on these channels.
