Not that there's not enough plugins from you (hahahah) but I'm very sure you're already cooking a new thing |

Your work is fuuuking amazing.
MEqualizer is an extremely clean & great sounding EQ. Mcompressor is very very transparent. Ever thought about making a synth? I'm sure it would be a monster. Thanks, Club Ho |

I would love to see a doppler effect and a really nice vocoder.

Check MVibrato and MMultiBandVibrato - that's basically a more advanced doppler. Vocoder - well, check the MMultiBandHarmonizer. Not exactly a vocoder though. |

I have both of those plugs and the vibrato does not give a good doppler effect. Check out the waves or grm doppler and you will see what I mean.
For making whoosh sounds a doppler is really good tool. Larry |

On the vocoder front, I like to vocode one sound effect with another sound effect. Vocode an animal with stone and rocks or even other animals.

Both true, but I'm afraid there are more interesting ideas than these. Doppler is a very specific effect, rarely used to be honest. And there are so many vocoders, yet it is not so useful as well. I'd rather focus on some more original ideas, and there are plenty of them "unfortunately" |

Doppler is used all the time for sound effect design. I probably end up pulling up a doppler several times a week. It can some nice movement to a variety effects.
There is currently only one good vocoder : Vocodex. Every other one pretty much pales in comparison. |

I have an idea for a next plugin. I've been thinking about building it in Reaktor:
A drum/sample player that is triggered by audio input....specifically the mouth. Imagine beat boxing, but the plugin knows your kick from your snare sound (based on frequency and transient) and responds with an assigned pad/sample. The software will basically assign samples to a certain sound. This can be a calibrated sound (per user vocal profile) or typical analysis of input frequency. When the new reaktor ships this week, I will play with it, but its an idea for anyone who wants to takle. Keep up the good work Melda team! I'd also like to see refined interface skins to model hardware panels. |
