Hi,

Every time I export a project to a WAV file it always ends up in the root of my drive (D:\) with a filemname of "Energy-XT2.wav".

Is anyone else getting this or is it something I'm doing wrong?

Cheers,
Lee.

When you export there should first be a dialog where you tell XT2 what to export in what format and if you then press 'Save' on this dialog there should be another dialog where you specify the path and the name of the export.
This second dialog doesn't appear?

Hi,

Yes, the second dialog box appears and it defaults to the location of the project file but ignores any location given here and always saves the file as D:\Energy-XT.wav

Just fyi the location of my energyXT.exe is D:\Energy-XT2.6\

I guess the location of the project file as it currently is is 'D:\Energy-XT2.6\Projects'?
See what happens if you rename the path where XT2 is located/installed in from 'D:\Energy-XT2.6' to e.g 'D:\Energy-XT26' or similar. Important for this check is that there is no dot ('.') in the folder name.
Also see what happens, if you uncheck 'Multi track export' in the first dialog.

Hello,

Thank you for your quick responses. Yes it was the dot in the path, I renamed the folder to EnergyXT26 and it is now working.

Many thanks.

Ah, another nasty little bug.
But not the first one related to a dot in a folder name.
Jorgen should check his code once for stuff like this.

Glad we could find it though and that export is working for you again.

Your info 'Just fyi the location of my energyXT.exe is D:\Energy-XT2.6\' was of great help!
