Not really, currently I am planning several things for Alchemy at the same time, which comes first depends on a lot of things. First I want to wait for version 1.3 being released, as I have to convert all my current Banks so that they will work properly with the new version. Then I most probably have a composer in residence-contract coming up which will require a lot of time and will reduce the time I can invest into producing new stuff for patchpool. But eventually there will be a dedicated Alchemy Bank for ceramic materials and instruments I just can't say yet, when. |

Ever since announcing an Alchemy set with ceramic sounds, I'm being spammed by a chinese ceramics manufacturer who seems to know it's way around spam-filters. Maybe I should just order some stuff. |

Never mind ordering, you should ask them to send some samples! |

Not really, I just released Framedrum for Alchemy, now I need a longer pause as it's been a crazy year. Then it's back to Brass and Woodwinds I guess. |

I multisampled a beautiful ceramic vase today (after promising to my wife that I would not break it) and will release these instruments/patches as a Mini Bank during the next days. It has up to 10 x Round Robin, several velocities/articulations (hitting it with a soft mallet on the side, top and bottom) and there will also be a patch with hand playing so it sounds like a clay drum. Then there are some trills /tremolos and some electronically processed sounds. |

Here is an ambient demo track combining two patches from the upcoming Mini Bank "The Vase" for Alchemy - one patch uses 3 velocity layers with one articulation each (bottom/side/top - hit with a soft mallet) - 10X Round Robin each - tuned, so that you play them chromatically/in tune - 30 samples are used in that patch altogether. The pad sound uses 3 stretched and spectralized vase samples and one resynthed vase sample in additive mode. Morphing through the Snapshots in both patches during the demo. http://soundcloud.com/sampleconstruct/vase-music-demo-mini-b ank-the |

Great!
I voted for a ceramics bank back when you were asking. Think this demo shows there is a lot of potential in a ceramics bank maybe time to ask your wife if you can use that prized china tea set too! |

I made some more samples for the Vase Bank today, pouring water into the vase first, then shaking the water in the vase at different amplitudes, some beautiful drips and drops came out of that, here is a demo track using the patch "Vase Waterdrops":
