i think i might have done this by mistake the other day when i was messing about but i have scouted the manual and i don't know how to do it again.
basically once i make a pattern in Consequence's sequencer is there anyway to then export that pattern as a midi pattern so i can apply it to another software instrument i have loaded? if anyone could shed some light that would be great. |

I'm not quite sure about Logic specifically, but it should work this way in all DAWs: At the top-right of the Consequence window there is a yellow note with a little hand, just click that, and drag it to your timeline in Logic and your pattern should be right there. |

I don't normally export like this, so I am seeing some unexpected behavior, not bugs but working differently than I would assume. If I have it set to 'external' and drag I get an empty pattern in Reaper unless I have the Reaper sequencer running, if I set Consequence's clock to Internal it works fine. So I would suggest you need to set Consequence at least temporarily to 'internal' before doing a drag and drop midi export. |

I think it was added in an update, maybe you need the latest version? EDIT: Midi Export! With the 1.5.1 update the long awaited Midi export functionatlity is there. Just drag and drop from within Consequence to your host or a generated MIDI file to your desktop. Quick and easy! ~~ I looked on their website, the image there doesn't include it either, but my version has it and it works well enough. |
