Hi Greg,
First of all, awesome job on the EEG update! I'm loving every bit of it! I have a question on the Tracking feature. Is it possible to have Kontakt output each guitar track on a different channel? So, for example, enable Quad Tracking and have 4 outputs from Kontakt, each with a separate guitar track? Thanks!!! |

That's something I'm working on right now. Unfortunately Kontakt's output settings are pretty limited, so it seems like the only way to achieve this is by duplicating the entire instrument's groups for as many total outputs as needed. Hopefully that won't negatively affect the instrument's loading time too much... :/ |

Greg, you're using 64 groups here. From my experience a four-fold increase in number of groups (when same samples are used) does not always yield in four-fould increase in loading time, and is in many cases faster than expected. I think it should be fine. Too bad it's the only way to do what's requested... |

That's good to hear! But yeah, makes it a bit of a nuisance to work with. :/ |

Perhaps instead of having one patch output multiple tracks, you could have multiple patches that output single tracks? One patch could play track 1, the next could play track 2, etc., then each patch could be assigned to its own output.
It might not be as clean as having all the controls in a single patch, but it would prevent having to make redundant groups for each track, and Kontakt will recognize that the patches are using the same samples so it won't increase memory use by very much. |
