As for 'Madeon', something doesn't seem right to me. I have a feeling some big names or people with experience are pulling the strings behind this "project". Call it a business venture, a modern version of a Stock, Aiken and Waterman type thing.
It's easy for fans to get excited and say: He's a prodigy, a genius etc but to me, as a detached, outside observer, my money is on a more standard explanation for these high production values.
The EDM scene is not immune from the concept of "creating" a star for the purpose of making money. The music industry is a business after all. Maybe this is a new tactic by some ageing EDM producers, put a fresh young face on a back end of years of experience. Just a thought.
