Seems that it took awhile for them to find something to 'fanboi' about....
If you have a problem with them then PM a mod...
Sorry if I was misunderstood...my point was that it would be unlikely a Nomad sock puppet would misspell the company name. Nothing more, nothing less.Trakstar wrote:I am no troll, and I only signed up because I have an interest in computer music and from time to time like to see what other folks get upto in their music stuff( I am also no sock puppet). The Normad typo made me laugh so thats why I continued using it.
I don't work for Norma but when I couldn't figure out their auth system they responded to my email reasonably quickly. I think in your case they should have sorted it out and could still make it right (if Norman is reading this thread.) As for misspelling their name at least they never named a synth "Cyclop" WTF! The singular of cyclops is "cyclops" not "cyclop".bk wrote:Sorry if I was misunderstood...my point was that it would be unlikely a Nomad sock puppet would misspell the company name. However, since the subject is Nomad (or Normad!), I'll relate my only experience with them.
I purchased the BBE Maximizer plug right before it became a Nomad plug, and was promised a copy of their version when it was released. I sent them an email requesting it, which they responded to with a request for a copy of the email receipt from Musician's Friend. I complied and sent it. That's the last I ever heard from them. I resent the receipt many times, from several different email addresses over the course of several weeks. Never got a response.
I'm not saying all their customer support goes like this, but it sure left a bad taste, and I'm unlikely to purchase from them in the future.
Magma looks interesting, but not enough for me to try it out...
my whites are soooo much whiter , since i started using Trakstar™ ...Trakstar wrote:why not ask other Kvr users:jens wrote:Of course not... you can either have been lurking or could have been going by another moniker for years. Signing up @KVR is a dead simple process after all - it is not like you have to prove your identity or something.
Thanks Trakstar,
You are right, the speakers is an important part of the chain. Once my room sound will be improved (and I know it needs it, the bass response being so badly distributed in the studio), I will get myself a decent pair of speakers. And I will check your link too.
Thanks!!
