Again, very simple, very short this time, but I guess you could consider it to be a WIP. Not sure yet.

Thanks for listening!
I promise I'll do some layering soon.

I normally use the piano roll, but this time I was just playing, and I liked what I heard, so I went back and "recorded" the midi that I'd just played (A Cubase function that I just discovered recently).
I don't really know how to play, either. I did have to go back and edit it slightly, but it really does not follow any time signature. It's VERY loose, time-wise.
I'll play with the eq a bit and see what I come up with. I didn't personally hear anything harsh, but I'll listen closely to see what's going on. If I have to I can send it to you.To be honest, I'm still extremely new to mixing, so I don't doubt that I've done something wrong.
I listened again, a bit louder, and do hear something I didn't hear previously..but I still don't consider it harsh..and my nht-pro a10's aren't too bad, either.ATS wrote:
I'm sure I am more sensative to it than others but I am listning on very good blu-sky monitors and can assure you it is there.

But in my line of work with piano's (tuning and voicing), the way people hear things differently is quite interesting.
