Hi all,
I'm trying to find a simple free sample player in VSTi format. All I need is to be able to load a wave file sample and trigger it via a MIDI track. I don't need any bells or whistles, just play the wave file, so the simpler the better! I'm using Magix Samplitude 11. I made the mistake of downloading Kontakt Player 5 which I thought was a FREE player, but after researching into why I couldn't get it to work it turns out it turns into a DEMO if you try to load your own samples. So I'm uninstalling that right away! Thanks, -tkr ---- _________________________________________ 'Cause I don't wanna read the book, I'll watch the movie. |

Thank you, I will check those out! Redspark, Samplitude Pro X does have a sampler, but I'm still on v11, which unfortunately doesn't have one. Thanks again, -tkr ---- _________________________________________ 'Cause I don't wanna read the book, I'll watch the movie. |

There is a free one just been released with computer magazine that is perfect for what you are asking and the full version is here
