"Hipster pop" is the best way I can think of to describe this. I'm just looking for some feedback on the mix and the whole thing in general. Thanks.

Thanks for the feedback so far. This seems to happen a lot, where one person's favorite part is another's least favorite. Art's a funny thing. ---- 17 year-old "musician." https://soundcloud.com/nine-of-kings Free albums are cool. http://nineofkings.bandcamp.com |

the falsetto is growing on me ... the transition back could be tinkered with , phrasing wise ... it's really a well conceived pop arrangement ... hope you expand on it ... ----

Nine - I like the piece & the concept . . .
opportunities would be creating a "C" section(Beatles or XTC would do one at a new, much slower tempo out of nowhere) and the drums seem a little dis-jointed from the rest of the piece(perhaps less is more?) strengths would be the both the a & b melodies and the "freedom" idea itself peace ---- an expert on what it feels like to be me & you are who you google http://soundcloud.com/mrnatural-1 |

Thank you. I did think that it is pretty short, and a separate section or interlude would be a good way to extend it without having to add "filler." I'm a little reluctant to compare myself to the Beatles, though... Anyway, about the drums, I just want to know how they are disjointed? There isn't very much going on rhythmically. I'm not exactly sure what you mean. ---- 17 year-old "musician." https://soundcloud.com/nine-of-kings Free albums are cool. http://nineofkings.bandcamp.com |
