I use this all the time love this limiter

Post

Cool! A limiter with a GUI that looks like the dashboard of an old Tupolev. :)

Edit: I meant the first version of the GUI which I like much more than GUI No. 2.

I find I like the kinda basic GUi one for more natural limiting and the cooler looking one seems to be alot more colored

Same code behind the GUI:s, though…

Yea I know but when i put them side my side with the same signal and the same settings they did not nul. It might be a reaper thing latley reaper acts so buggy :lol:

First time i really used Limiter6 and im supermega impressed! I knew the issues i had and this was like a walk in the park to fix them. Visual feedback is perfect - it lets you use your ears most of the time.

>< How did this thread pass me by, as I started the clipper thread not knowing about this.... Ah well, it's a nice find tbh :D
Don't trust those with words of weakness, they are the most aggressive

you know I found out my where where not nulling on my DAW originally. I had one of my plugins with the noise on :oops:

but yea its a good limiter and a nice little compressor clipper its just a nice set of things :shock:

Great plugin. Has a nice smooth sound but too much of a cpu hog.

Post

it is a little cpu intense I agree. but the sound quality is great

I completed v1.0.1 of Limiter No6. I want to make last checks until monday and then update "official" links on downloads page.

You can check this version here:

http://vladgsound.wordpress.com/2012/08 ... t-preview/

What's new:

- Mac VST 64-bit support;
- Fixed CPU-related GUI issues;
- Support of DirectX acceleration for Vista/Seven (less CPU for graphics).

PS. Also I sucessfully checked this version with RTAS wrapper.

My next step is to make AU.

I think this is going to solve the Sonar X1 issue that I reported earlier? Anyway, will test it tonight and report back. Thanks.

Yes, I checked on Sonar X1 and everything was okay.

Yes, Sir. It's fixed. I tried it last night and it doesn't consume CPU when bypassed. Thanks.
