I don't know that I remember all of them. For one, as I'd add instances, the cpu would get wonky. I'm not exactly sure of the details as it's been a while, but it didn't make sense. Gotta be a thread around here on it, maybe I can find it later.lfm wrote:I've seen your comments a couple of times about problems in Reaper.hibidy wrote:@SSL/overlap/etc: Oh, they were great. I'd have jumped on it for certain had it not been for the weird bugs/annoyances and the fact the waves hasn't tested with reaper, therefor doesn't "support" reaper.
Could please extend on what problems those are?
I have not encountered anything yet that does not work, but with Tune. About 50 Waves plugs(a handful not used yet).
Tune has a minor thingy since rewire does not connect, so changing position from within Tune does not change main position pointer in Reaper, but everything works perfectly apart from that.
But I have not used any sidechaining or more advanced stuff yet.
But I'm all with you on the problematic situation with hiding behind not supporting Reaper. I thought I would pause further purchase but I folded on that one since I found it working well - all of it.
I had issued with looping at times with the buss compressor. There was a noticeable glitch that if you turned it off would go away. Very annoying.
I'll try to remember the other later, seems there was one other one that drove me mad. Again, I just remember having these problems and thinking "I don't want to shell for this and waves won't even look into it". It's not as much that the problems were just super serious as much as that.
