DDMF Ads - oh dear.

Dear Mr. DDMF developer dude,
you really REALLY need someone to proofread your ads. The one currently running on KVR reads "Prize doesn't matter. Technique does. That's why my boyfriend loves DDMF."
I think what you might be trying to say is: "Price doesn't matter" (and there are surely more elegant ways to say this). And regarding the second sentence - I'm just guessing here that Dutch and German are similar - in German, "Technik" can mean technique OR technology. You can't make this particular "pune, or play on words" in English, though, it's just wrong. "Technique" is meaningless here, unless you mean the skill involved in using an effect - which is not a good argument for buying anything. Plus, it's got nothing to do with the word play that precedes it.
And - this might just be my personal preference - selling audio plugins with sexual innuendo is just a real turn-off and makes it difficult to take your product seriously.
You make great plugins, but your ads... need some work.
Hope you take this as constructive criticism.

Well, ads have to be annoying or funny.
Look, two people are already talking about it
And it is certainly a play with words (tongue in cheek-style):
Size doesn't matter.
Prize doesn't matter.
And technique would be the correct choice of word in this context, not?
At least if one doesn't employ technology to improve one's skills...
oh wait, that is what plugins are for?
Confused
I wonder if DDMF will come up with more similar built slogans with different contexts.
That would be entertaining. (Oh my, am I easily amused
)
Greetings
D.

It's not true "internet-ese", should read:
dont loose your money on others, try ours to
-recap; notice the non-capitalization of the first word, misspellings of lose and too, no ending period.

I'd go with the "tongue in cheek" contextual ploy, as well.Debby747 wrote:Well, ads have to be annoying or funny.

Confused
Although "size" does matter to those who know it does, and to those who wish it didn't.
