I've got Vortex on a Windows machine here with Norton AntiVirus 2012. The Norton identifies and blocks the following imaginary malware in Vortex, with the result that Vortex cannot function normally:
Trojan.ADH Trojan.ADH.2 Suspicious.Cloud.7.F What's going on? If I just switch the Norton off, there's no problem. But I'm not sure what would happen if I ran a Norton scan. Agemo |

It is very frustrating, the virus companies have decided over the last year that SEMs are suspicious and it is posing a big problem for me lately.
I can assure you there are no viruses in any of them. If Norton has a submit button anywhere so they can be analysed by Norton's team, they should then be whitelisted in the next virus definitions update. Alternatively you can add them to the ignore list and it will then cease to scan them. Sorry about it, I have submitted lots of files but have no control over whether they whitelist them... |

Many thanks for this info. I'll just exclude the Vortex folder from the Norton's scanning and protecting. Simplest thing for now. |
