No... freakin'... waaaaayyyyyyy! This is such good news, if it be true -- not only do I win some bets, but I just might collect enough $$$ to be able to buy v4 of my favorite host before v5 comes out. Not that I'm counting on it, but hey... ---- "Wait... loot _then_ burn? Aw, crap..." |

What fantastic news! Like many of us I've become invested in other DAWs during the lean years, but I will always support Tracktion if it is being cared for by those who understand it's singularly brilliant approach to recording. |

Last time I checked was $49.95 (or $45.00) and because I was not sure Mackie was going to maintain it for long (C/R) I skipped and now... i put a WTB in the market place a few months back and got T3 for $20 maybe try it though ---- Please call me Theo. |

I am WAY more interested in enjoying Tracktion than I am in somehow punishing Mackie for dropping T a while back. Principles be damned. Just give us some Tracktion! I agree.. and it's Jules who sold it in the first place, no one put a gun to his head. So let's just hope he sticks with it this time, and let's forget the whole mackie thing. From what i am gathering, T4 is a code cleanup, but the video pretty much has an open invite to suggest users are going to shape tracktion's future.. so whatever you really think it needs, now is the time. Things have come a long way, and i am as much a tracktion fan as anyone else here, and i'd love to go back to it but there's simply stuff i take for granted now.. proper pdc, easy sidechaining without those racks (i never ever could get used to them), high quality timestretch with flex audio control, etc etc, and tracktion would have to come to the party for me to switch full time to it. I am keeping my fingers crossed and will follow it very closely. ---- Please call me Theo. |
