I'm trying to get a clean guitar intro to a tune, and all these fret and string noises are going to drive me insane.

Is there any way of getting clean samples without all the noise? As it is, it's unlistenable.

I'm using single-notes, I have all of the noise controls turned down as far as possible, and I just can't seem to get clean samples. :(

Do you have both the main patch (Shreddage 2.nki) and the noises patch (Shreddage 2 FX.nki) loaded simultaneously in Kontakt?

If so, please unload or mute the FX patch - it's intended to be triggered on a different MIDI channel, so that you can add noises as required.

That did it! Thank you so much!

I was using the Shreddage2 Doubletrack Stereo multi. I just changed the MIDI channel on the FX portion and it's perfect now. :tu:

Thanks! :)

You are welcome.

You can add the extra FX noises to taste by sending MIDI notes to the FX patch, "playing" the FX noises if and when you need them. Roughly speaking, the noises in the FX patch are mapped from short to long up the keyboard.

Enjoy Shreddage 2!
