I have eXT v. 2.7, don't remember any problem with this particular plugin before.

Wow. Just tried loading the plugin in Sonar 8.5 PE, happened there, too. Weird.

No problem in Minihost, though.

As far as I know there is no energyXT VST of version 2.7. Only the standalone is available as 2.7 beta. VST version should be 2.6?
In which host did you try to load the energyXT VST in the first place?
Did you try to open an existing project using energyXT VST or did you just try to add energyXT VST to a new project in that host?

Sorry, not communicating very well. No, the plugin I mean is ArcDev's H4xx0r, the beatslicer. I'm getting the error when I add it to a project in eXT, then close and re-open that project. If I remove the plugin from my VST folder I can bring the project up, then delete the plugin from eXT in the Modular view, then re-add the plugin to the VST folder and re-add it to the project, until I close the project again, then I have to repeat this process. I mentioned Sonar because that host dosen't even bother trying to import this VSTi anymore, it just crashes. Only in Minihost am I able to import H4xx0r without problems. Since this plugin has never before given me any issues I wonder if maybe some other plugin I've recently DL-ed might be the culprit, but haven't had time to experiment with that solution.

I doubt that another plugin is causing this issue. Did you upgrade your computer to a multi core machine since you last used H4xx0r with XT2? This could be a possible reason.
Quick search on internet didn't give me any results of possible problems with H4xx0r though. Or do you use multiple instances of it in your project. Some (mostly) older plugins do not like that too. Or did you install H4xx0r into a folder where you do not have write access?
To be more or less sure that no other plugin is the culprit try creating a new empty project and just only add H4xx0r. Then see what happens if you save, close and reopen this project...
