I am seriously thinking of buying Spectral, and to that end, I have a question:
When installing, can I install the factory patches wherever I want to? Or, is the location fixed?
thanks

After installation you can move the data folder to wherever you like and then go to the setup page in Spectral and choose a default patch in the folder.

Thank you Satch1,
exactly, though its only a small folder, the data for Spectral can be moved and the new location set in Spectral's Setup. You can already d that with the demo if you want to try as its fully functional. Also check the manual page 79 about Setup / Global Options

I just purchased, loaded, and explored Spectral for a few hours. I am very pleased with my purchase. I particularly like the ability to view a waveform in the time domain (OSC display) and in the frequency domain (waveform editor).
