Sorry, as a beta tester I did miss that. Sorry. I'll check it out tomorrow. Having to entertain the wife right now, so not able to check immediately.Sendy wrote:Looks like nobody has noticed my report of stepping when you try to play with MIDI expressions like pitchbend or modwheel. Just goto the INIT patch, set pitchbend to 12 and play some bends of differing speeds, and tell me what you hear! This is synth-breaking stuff when you actually try to play expressively over MIDI! How can it be missed?! This is important stuff!!
I guess I'll try and email the developer.
Thanks for looking into it. It's quite easy to miss really, because of the lush sound and FX of the synth, but it shows up quite readily on a spectrogram.cytospur wrote:Sorry, as a beta tester I did miss that. Sorry. Have you tried the official Synapse forum?Sendy wrote:Looks like nobody has noticed my report.
No, but I'm doing that now. Was hoping to email the dev but it looks like signing up to the forum is the only way. Good job I have a personal password slave to keep track of all these passwordsKriminal wrote:Have you tried the official Synapse forum?Sendy wrote:Looks like nobody has noticed my report.

I did that but did not hear any stepping.Sendy wrote:Looks like nobody has noticed my report of stepping when you try to play with MIDI expressions like pitchbend or modwheel. Just goto the INIT patch, set pitchbend to 12 and play some bends of differing speeds, and tell me what you hear!
Here's a spectrogram showing Dune2 on the left and Diva on the right.Chris-S wrote:I did that but did not hear any stepping.Sendy wrote:Looks like nobody has noticed my report of stepping when you try to play with MIDI expressions like pitchbend or modwheel. Could you upload an example-recording?
I don't get the stepping with pitch of mod wheels here.Sendy wrote:Looks like nobody has noticed my report of stepping when you try to play with MIDI expressions like pitchbend or modwheel.
