Logic question: is there any way to tell if my plugs are 64 bit compatible at a glance?

hey guys, I want to upgrade to Logic X, but worried about the inevitable loss of plugs. anyone know if I can tell whether the versions I have installed of various plugins, are 64 bit compatible by looking at the .components?
suppose I could just open Logic 9 in 64 bit and see what shows up; but now i'm curious.

Yes, the components are just bundles (directories) containing other files. You can examine the binary and identify whether it is a universal binary or not, and which targets it was compiled for.
You should be able to right-click (or control-click) and select something to open the folder and browse through it. The binary should be in a folder called Contents/MacOS. You can also look at the bitmaps and other stuff in the Contents/Resources folder.
The "binary" itself is another folder which will contain filename~.x64 and filename~.x86 for a typical universal binary.

thanks. here is something really weird that I have never noticed: when I go to "get info" it doesn't actually say "component." it says that all of my plug ins are "iDVD 2 Project." they all work fine, but strange.
