We enjoy it a lot. We maintain a list of artists who have publicly endorsed our stuff on websites, album covers or magazines.
Perfect example! - Artist buys stuff, talks about it. That's the opposite of an endorsement deal because it's actual fact. Endorsements on websites are most commonly, well, hard to believe.
There's no difference between u-he (Jones) and XILS-Lab (Jarre) here.

Shall I assume that you, at the time when you wrote your post, though differently?

That's entirely possible.

But as there was a discussion about artist endorsement spawned off, I simply felt compelled to add my mustard. I have done so here, in this thread, which is not specific to any company. Had I felt the need to address Lotuzia directly, I would have posted in the other thread. But I'm over fighting with him, he taught me not to worry too much, so I don't.

So the Mini Syn'x is a cut down version of the Syn'x, and Syn'x is a renaming for the former XILS synthix?

I'm a little confused. :help:

In short yes. There's a thread about the MiniSyn'x where you can find more details about these synths

I think the miniSyn'X is more of a cut down version of the comming Syn'X 2.

And yes - Syn'X was formerly known as Synthix.

Superwave are offering a dozen or so Jarre tracks on their site now. They made them using their Jarre synth and two of their drum modules...

Just saying, I stumbled upon it when checking a price. Don't even like Jarre :P

Post

Wasn't there some legal issues with that "jarre synth" ?

Post

Don't know. Haven't heard anything, yet.
I also wonder if they have to pay fees for offering those cover versions...

Post

I remember JMJ mention the synth somewhere. He wasn't so happy about it.

Obviously people like them and the company seems to be thriving, but I've tried the demos on many occasions and cannot get excited for some reason. Perhaps it is just the style of music that I personally like playing when I've demoed them, I don't know. I'm going to demo the flagship Xils 4 one final time this week and really do my best to keep an open mind. :)
I think your problem with them is simply you're not into what they're emulating.
Of course any synth emulation can only be fairly judged by A/B hardware comparison. Nobody can dispute that XILS nailed the VP-330 which was my #1 VSTI pick of 2013. Earlier in this thread he mentioned getting access to Spectrasonic's Synthex and I'm interested to see how much improvements they have made for Synthix 2.0. The XILS 3.2 and XILS 4 are amazing synths.

More than an exact VST/AU replica I would like any existing softsynths preset or even better , guidance on how to reproduce two of the most iconic sounds of the RMI: the Oxygene IV chorus sound and the Oxygene part V bass sequencer sound.

It seems the RMI harmonic synth has showed up as a Rack Extension
