I saw a post a couple years back that TACT automation was something for the future, but mentioned something about multiplexing being the issue.
I can get around this somewhat with multiple instances of a guitar, but it would be really nice, for example, to be able to automate the slide source and transition timings when I'm doing slides of different speeds in a song. Actually not sure if much more than that is needed, but perhaps articulation volume/offset and mute tightness could come in handy. Oh, I suppose the envelope section being automated could be nice to really dial something in as well, I just haven't quite made it to that level of detail yet.
Is TACT automation still something in the pipeline?

Yes! In fact, most TACT per-articulation parameters are fully automatable in more recent ISW libraries: Tokyo Scoring Strings, S3 Fretless, Rosette. It will be the case moving forward. All Shreddage 3 guitars and basses will be updated with this, too.
