Thank you very much. And believe me: RC is the backbone in the most of them. Sometimes the final composition is far away from the RC draft version or quite close. Attached an example recovered from a backup. It will be "Doña Margarita" after further music development

This is amazing, Jorge! I was hoping that RC was used and was helpful in making these pieces...

More than happy with this melody I created for Rod Stewart's "Sailing" with the Markov Melody Generator!

Great thanks for sending that over I'm just waiting for Attila to fix the overlapping of notes bug in midi mutator and hopefully update the variation rest feature as well as the midi learn feature.
I will only be using those features to show you how easy it can be to remix one genre of music into another with just a couple of clicks.
The midi learn will take the initial Melody and give me alternatives.
The rests will create interesting rhythms.

besides the Rod Stewart song, here is another MIDI (Shenendoah) I really would like to make a "rockier" version with e-guitars and drums out of it.
Could You show me how You would approach this, too?
Thanks a lot.
Best regards,
-Adrian

Cool,
I will send Attila a message to see when he's planning on fixing the bugs in mutator and apply midi learn.
This is not the music I normally make but that's why I enjoy using RC as it's possible to make any genre. When using variations and features like midi learn.

Maybe closer to Your taste?
Electric guitars, drums, bass... end a little more uptempo....

Check this video out this is exactly the vision I have with how midi learn should work in RC, look how simple it works in this programme band-in-a-box where it gives you variations on a click of a button. very inspiring, imagine you could take that guitar riff and have so many different variations and all you would have to do is important a MIDI loop and have RC regenerate variations.
if you go to 8 minutes and watch it from their it shows you how it gives you variations
