I was doing some editing in T3 last night for the first time in awhile... and was just so impressed with how quick it was to get things done. God I love the workflow of this program, it just kills EVERYTHING else I've tried, which includes ProTools, Logic, Live, Garageband, and Digital Performer.

Too bad its CPU performance is a joke compared to these other programs and it also has inferior support of 3rd party apps.

Anyway, I'm probably picking up a new quad core Mac soon that will be loaded with Snow Leopard (which reportedly is great for digital performer), and I figure that T3 probably won't run on that... Even though I do all my mixing and mastering in DP, I prefer tracking and editing in Tracktion. Will be sad to have to let it go...

It runs on Snow Leopard but don't expect much. Stability is really crap on a mac.

It doesn't even recognise its own mda plugs.....

runs fine on snow leopard
even is stable with the right VSTs
it's hard to find the ones that work though...

T-RackS 3 shell does.... the individual singles crash it as soon as they are loaded

T3's stability on Macs is a weird thing... my version would crash relatively frequently but I tracked it down to a few Waves plug-ins (supertap and ReinVox). I removed these and it has been rock solid stable ever since. Can't remember the last time it crashed. Btw, I'm on a dual 1.8 GHz PowerMac.

My issue with T3 has always been CPU efficiency, not stability.

They'd also tell you to spray some Windex on your monitor screen if they thought it'd fob you off.

Disk perms seem to Tech Support "1 minute answers that might *just* work" 101 for the Mac platform.
