An old memory from the 70s

This is a tune my band did back in the '70s. I found a 4-track master recorded on an old Tascam reel-to-reel (back in the era of the typewriter and before those 5 pound cell phones).

I mixed it on Tracktion3, created as much separation as I could and processed some of the voices (tastefully, I hope) and enhanced with a couple of MIDI tracks. Sorry about the quality of the lead vocal. We couldn't afford really good microphones.

Nice work on the song! Some of the keyboard flourishes are a tad too up-front for my taste, and might be better with some low-cut filtering and a lower volume to make them just a tad more subliminal. Very 70's sound to the song. Makes me want to dig up the old bell bottoms and smoke some doobage in the old Impala. ; )
