Hi Guys,
I'm currently making keyboard parts for my demo in Reason 5, and the result (for each song) is a single WAV audio file of the keyboard part(s).
My friends home studio uses Tracktion 3, a program which i am not familiar with. I am planning to record live instruments (eg drums/guitar/vocals) OVER these keyboard audio files. Thereby merging everything into one audio file.
Are WAV files compatible in Tracktion? can i import one and record over it?
Thanks a lot everyone.

Sure, just select a track and click on the IMPORT button.
Tracktion can even import broadcast wave files and place them correctly on the timeline, very handy especially for multiple files, your wave files will automatically line up as they were recorded.
Tracktion can do almost anything....... heck it can even do things that the
other major DAWs can't.

You can also just drag and drop from explorer/whatever into the tracktion editing window.
